What is a servo?

Hobby servos deliver more than just a simple motor. Servos are designed for motion control.

Using the servo seemed to be of no use to me at the moment, however the interaction that occurs uses precise rotations and precision.

for(pos = 0; pos < 10; pos += 1) – 1 to 10 in the steps on 1 degree

myservo.attach(9); – number 9 identifies what pin the servo is connected to on the arduino board

 

 

Arduino – 74HC595 Shift Register

So I have now set up a circuit with 8 LEDS and a 74HC595  shift resister.

So I have now set up a circuit with 8 LEDS and a 74HC595  shift resister.

From what I can figure, the shift resistor can do multiple tasks at once, multiple chips can be linked together to create an unlimited amount of outputs. This kind of chip runs on 8 bit data, the 8 bits are shifted to the register pins.
